This policy explains what information gworldtime.com ("we", "us", "the Site") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We designed the Site to work without accounts and to collect as little as possible.

2.1 Information you provide

The Site does not require registration and has no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details to use the world clock. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, which we use only to respond to you.

2.2 Preferences stored on your device (local storage)

To make the Site work the way you left it, we store your settings locally in your browser using localStorage. This includes your chosen color theme, land/ocean colors, interface language, and pinned cities. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to our servers, and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

2.3 Automatically collected information

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages for security and operational purposes.

3. Cookies and consent

When you first visit the Site, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. A single cookie (consent) remembers your choice for one year. Until you accept, analytics and advertising features run in a restricted, cookieless mode ("consent denied" state under Google Consent Mode v2) or are not used for personalization.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clearing the Site's cookies in your browser, after which the banner will appear again.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of the Site (e.g., how many visitors we have and which languages are used). Preference data in localStorage remains on your device until you delete it. The consent cookie expires after 12 months. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the Korean Personal Information Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because the Site stores almost nothing about you on our side, most of these actions can be performed directly by clearing your browser's cookies and site data. 10. Children's privacy

The Site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Since we operate no user accounts and no server-side database of personal data, the attack surface for your personal information is minimal by design.

12. International transfers

Service providers named in this policy (Google) may process data on servers located outside your country. Such processing is governed by those providers' own safeguards and privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
